Jason Dodson is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). He joined the practice in 2017. Jason has experience working with children, teens, adults, and couples. He is certified in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT). Jason has experience using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Choice Theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to assist clients in reaching their goals and potential. He also has experience working with clients who have experienced trauma, including training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. Prior to joining the practice, Jason had experience working with at-risk and behaviorally challenged children, assisting adults and children with autism and developmental disabilities, and working in outpatient settings.
Jason offers a versatile and evidence-based approach to therapy, providing support for children, teens, adults, and couples facing a wide range of challenges.
As a certified PCIT therapist, he provides specialized treatment to help parents of young children manage challenging behaviors and strengthen their relationship.
Utilizing training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help clients process and heal from traumatic experiences.
Integrating approaches like ACT, CBT, and DBT to help adults and couples navigate life's challenges, improve relationships, and reach their full potential.
Drawing on extensive experience with at-risk youth, autism, and developmental disabilities to provide tailored support for younger clients.
