Personal biography

Elaine Przybyszewski, PsyD, is a postdoctoral fellow who earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from William James College. Her doctoral dissertation examined how functioning labels influence adults’ expectations of autistic children, reflecting her commitment to challenging limiting narratives and promoting more accurate understandings of autism as a spectrum.

Throughout her graduate training, Dr. Przybyszewski focused on working with autistic individuals across the lifespan. She has experience providing neuropsychological and diagnostic assessments to children and adults, including autism evaluations using the ADOS-2, as well as therapy with children, adolescents, and adults. Her work has taken place in a variety of settings, including in-home services, schools, community environments, and group programs.

Dr. Przybyszewski takes a neurodiversity-affirming, humanistic, and person-centered approach to therapy. She values collaborating with clients to understand their unique strengths, needs, and ways of experiencing the world. Her goal is to create a supportive space where clients feel respected, empowered, and able to explore their identities and goals in ways that feel authentic to them. She also enjoys incorporating expressive art interventions to support self-expression, emotional exploration, and creative engagement in the therapeutic process.

Currently, Dr. Przybyszewski provides psychological/ neuropsychological testing and psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and adults who experience a wide range of mental health needs.
